Our Trip To Disneyland

We had a great time. First we went to Sea World and met Auntie Barb there. The kids were awed by Shamu's size and loved picking up the starfish. At dinner we had a 30 inch pizza. Yum. The next day was Disneyland. Fun. Davis loved the Cars Pictures. At California Adventure on Thurs. we loved the Soarin ride. Then Friday was Knotts Berry Farm. It was the best. Half the price and no people and lines. Lots of roller coasters. We stopped and stayed the night with Jake and Chalene and family. Had a picnic at the park. Back to Chris's Saturday night and home Sunday. All in all a memorable trip.

The Wedding

To top off the week Spencer and Kim were wed in the Timp Temple on Jan. 2nd. It was beautiful day. Great reception despite the snow storm outside. Spencer and his dad sang and the wedding cake was chocolate.!

New Year's Day

Holly and family, Barb, And Benders came for a New Year's Eve party and then for girl's time on Jan. 1st. We played games and visited on the Eve and on the 1st we had a girl's spa party and Amy taught us to belly dance. Fun. Good exercize. My arms hurt the next day.

Christmas Day at Carliles

Because of the snow storm that was expected Barry and I went down to the Carlile's on Christmas Eve. We had a great Christmas morning watching the kids open gifts. Their new kitten, Luna, had a good time, too, playing with the animated dinosaur and Grampa's slippers. Dinner was yummy, of course. Lora and Tanner drove down from Elko but didn't arrive till about 8:00 PM because of the bad storm. It was so good to see them. They brought gifts from Egypt! While we waited for them we watched Prince Caspian. All in all it was a nice quiet day.
