The blessing

Aspen Lee was given a name and a blessing on Nov. 30th in Merrill and Cindy's ward. Matt gave a beautiful blessing. Love those grandbabies.

Thanksgiving 2008

This year we had Thanksgiving at Carrie's. Lots of people. All could be there except Lora and Tanner (of course Abby). But they arrived on Sat. We also had a visit with the Benders and Spencer (and Kim, his intended) on Friday. All in all a great holiday weekend.

Our Move

Grampa and I moved to Colorado. We left California on Nov. 3rd but didn't get there till the 5th because the truck broke down and we had to stay a night in Richfield. We are now pretty well settled and grampa is getting his treatments. It has been quite an adjustment but I try to look at it as an adventure. We went to our new Branch, the Eastland Branch and there's a good spirit there. Also I have already been working on my Mary Kay business. I gave a girl a facial on Wed. and she loves the products.

Newest Granddaughter

Aspen Lee Buckley was born Nov 3,2008 at 3:30 pm. She weighed in at 8 lbs 5 oz 20 3/4 inches long. She is the third child of Matt and Julie. Nana Carol went to Mountain Home ID to visit and help Nov 8 thru the 14th. She had lots of fun visiting, playing and reading books.
